Message from the President

More than 50 years ago, my father, Russ Raybould, founded B&R Stores, Inc., when he and his friend Clayton Burnett acquired a small neighborhood grocery store near downtown Lincoln, Nebraska. My father wanted to create a business that provided outstanding service for its customers. He believed that customers would become loyal if they received good value and friendly service. It’s a simple philosophy that has become the cornerstone of our success.

Today, you’ll find this commitment to value and service alive and well in each of our stores and with all of our many employees and employee owners. We’re proud of our team and of the dedication they bring to making B&R Stores, Inc., a better place to work and shop.
